Girlaway was created by Rhonda Hostetler.  She developed travel related software at Microsoft including: Microsoft MapPoint, Encarta World Atlas and Streets & Trips. 

Prior to that, she was a pioneer in CD-ROM edutainment products at Crawford Communications, working on innovative, but long forgotten titles such as Discovery Channel’s “Sharks!” and “Normandy:The Great Crusade”.

She and her three sisters love to travel and have been going on girls getaways for the past twenty years.
